Scientists have found a unique way to bend laser which can be used to bend lightening as well. They discovered that when a special sort of laser beam was sent which was pulsed instead of a steady and asymmetrical and a edge being brighter than the other through a series of filters, the beam curved by about by 5mm.This curving of the laser beam seems to be quite unusual because lasers propagate in a straight line. Mr. Jerome kasparina who is keen in trying to coax lightening using the straight plasma beams feels that the curved beams can be used to divert lightening either towards or away from the specific targets.
