Recession in US, has hit many industries and in turn many people are jobless. Many unemployed workers are now turning towards areas which are promoting alternative energy and controlling global warming. People are joining various courses that offer alternative energy degree and hands on training in installing solar panels, repairing wind turbines, producing biofuels and jobs that are trying to sustain or use other forms of energy. One of the head, who coordinates the biofuels program, has an opinion that this industry needs more time to mature. With more people turning towards this area, the green collar job will soon become a boon.
